“Overpack. It’s why suitcases have wheels now. ”
Well travel time is finally here and after several trial runs and numerous internal conversations over what to take, I think I've finally come up with the travel package:
- Two camera bodies (D500 for wildlife
and D810 for Landscape) - Nikon 200-500 for wildlife (yes I know its HEAVY!)
- Nikon 1.4 and 1.7 tele for 200-500
- Nikon 28-300 for "walk around"
- Nikon 16-35 for interior shots
plus...
The tripod, the gimbal as many batteries and memory cards as I can cram in and all of the "life support" stuff that you never have when you need it.
Just look for the "Breaking Bad" guy getting off the plane that looks like Quaimodo.
Now all I have to figure out is how to get it all on the plane......
